Welcome to Wall Moss Observations! Welcome to the wall moss observation forum. If you have noticed a patch on a north wall, a green line along a brick joint, or a color shift after rain, you are invited to describe it here. Reading along is fine too, and you can add your own observations whenever you are ready.

Nightmare Before Christmas Book Nook

Learn how to assemble this spooky shelf display.

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Use your cutting machine or X-ACTO knife, along with my template, to cut out all of the pieces of this Nightmare Before Christmas book nook.Note: If you are using the SVG files that includes the score lines, don't forget to set them as such in Cricut Design Space and attach them to their shapes before sending them through your cutting machine. I used a lime green color to mark the score lines, so hopefully that helps! If you're having trouble with the score lines, check out this video.
  • Color in the details of Sally's dress and layer each of the interior pieces like so.

If you don’t have chipboard on hand or aren’t interested in using it for this project, it isn’t 100% necessary. I’ve included it in this design to give the finished piece more rigidity so that it doesn’t get smashed in between the books on your shelf. But if you’re careful with the finished project, you could still display it without the chipboard inserts.

I believe this is the sixth book nook I’ve designed so far. And this one was especially fun, because I really love Nightmare Before Christmas! Just be patient with the cutting process—there are a lot of pages, and it takes quite a bit of time to get through them all.
